Using Filters and Search to Find Content

Start with filters to avoid noise, then refine with search. This saves time and returns highly relevant results.

Filters

• Content Type:

  • Videos (see techniques in action)

  • Documents (specs, code, step-by-steps)

  • Podcasts (learn on the go)

• Trade: ESI, PSI, ASI, RSI

• Experience Level: Apprentice, Journeyman, Master/Supervisor

Search (use simple keywords)

• Tools: “multimeter,” “pipe wrench,” “refrigerant recovery”

• Techniques: “wire pulling,” “soldering,” “load calculations”

• Problems: “troubleshooting,” “repair,” “maintenance”

Workflow (fast find)

1. Apply Trade + Experience + Content Type.

2. Enter 1–2 keywords.

3. Open the top 2–3 results and skim duration/description/level.

Tips

• Filters first → then search.

• If you get few results, remove one filter or broaden the term (e.g., “heat load” → “load calculations”).
